Modelo Pop-Up Beer Garden Event | Custom Branded Event Turf
This event was for a pop-up Beer Garden activation during the CONCACAF Gold Cup Soccer Tournament. The tournament was played in over a dozen cities in the US, and Modelo was sponsoring this same activation in the parking lot outside of each city’s stadium.
The overall activation footprint was 50’x50’, and since this was for a soccer tournament, the client wanted to use turf as the flooring for the activation to cover the unattractive blacktop of the parking lot. Just as every other piece of the activation was branded, Modelo wanted the flooring branded as well – with a 12’ tall Modelo logo front and center.
Our team of flooring specialists designed, produced, and shipped out 5 total 50’x50’ turf floors to 5 different cities – all within 3 weeks from inception to completion. After the first weekend of matches, each turf footprint was then rolled back up and traveled to another 1, 2, or 3 cities throughout the remaining weeks of the tournament. The event turf was very durable throughout the entire event series and looked just as great after the 3rd use as it did before the first.
