This experiential marketing company approached FloorEXP with a unique challenge: they wanted to transform an existing concert venue into a branded event space with a custom printed floor that would elevate the Big Game Event experience. Product and Installation Process

• Protective Layering: Our team began by installing a foundational layer of Ramboard, a high-durability floor protection material specifically chosen for its ability to shield hardwood surfaces from potential scratches or damage. To secure the Ramboard without affecting the hardwood, the team applied a combination of carpet grip tape and blue painter’s tape, ensuring no adhesive would make direct contact with the venue’s floor.
• Custom Printed Carpet Installation: The custom flooring solution, made from Inkjet 26 Printed Carpet with a total coverage of 2,800 square feet, was then precisely installed atop the protective Ramboard. Given the intricacy of the printed design, we took exceptional care in trimming and seaming the carpet to ensure the pattern aligned perfectly. The edges were hot-seamed, and double-sided tape was used to secure the carpet to the Ramboard, providing stability without risking any damage to the underlying hardwood.
• Additional Protective Sheeting: To prepare the space for the scenic fabrication team, who would be adding walls and furniture to complete the event setup, our team applied a layer of plastic sheeting over the carpet. This final step ensured the custom printed flooring remained in pristine condition throughout the staging and setup process.
